Office Coordinator

We are seeking an organized, personable, and detail-oriented office coordinator to join our team. You will be responsible for completing various office tasks and functions to ensure office operations run smoothly.

Office Coordinator Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcome and provide excellent customer service to clients, vendors and visitors to the office and assist guest(s) as needed
  • Perform clerical tasks as needed (file papers, organize supplies, etc.)
  • Answer phones and route calls to appropriate staff persons
  • Take and deliver phone messages to the appropriate party
  • Manage, sort, and dispense incoming mail and faxes
  • Prepare outgoing mail, packages and faxes
  • Maintain church calendar daily
  • Reserve conference spaces for meetings
  • Reserve transportation as requested
  • Place orders for office and maintenance supplies, event supplies, food, etc. as requested
  • Suggest changes to office task workflow to improve efficiency
  • Maintain an organized workspace at all times
  • Report any updates or pertinent issues to the Administrator
  • Uphold and carry out company office policies and procedures

Office Coordinator Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Computer literate and proficient using Microsoft Suite
  • Experience using office machinery (fax, printer, copier, phone systems etc.)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Outstanding communicator both verbally and written
Social Media and Graphic Specialist

We are looking for a qualified part-time Social Media and Graphic Specialist to join our team. If you have a creative way of thinking and of presenting our ministry through multiple social media channels, we would like to make you part of our team.

As a Social Media and Graphic Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and community-building efforts. You will develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase our social media traffic and our church ministry awareness. You should have excellent multitasking skills to handle all of our social media accounts in a cohesive way. This position must be able to quickly transition from one project to another, and be able to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines. This creative must be able to work well with others as an encouraging and supportive team member. You will report to the Creative Director and will be working closely with the rest of the Creative team.

Principal Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop relevant, original, high-quality social media content for all of Fellowship Chicago social media accounts.
  • Design social media strategies to achieve ministry targets
  • Manage, create and publish original, high quality graphics and content
  • Administer all church social media accounts ensuring up-to-date content
  • Liaise with writers and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Collaborate with the Pastor, staff Team members, and ministry leaders to development creative social ‘buzz’ regarding ministry launches and events.
  • Facilitate church social media communication and engagement (respond to queries, get reviews and organize chats and Q&A sessions)
  • Prepare monthly reports on social media & web traffic and ROI
  • Communicate with industry professionals via social media to create a strong network
  • Assist in carrying out our social media strategy\
  • Actively engage the audience through private messaging responses, comments, likes
  • Provide constructive feedback
  • Promote content through social advertising
  • Measure the success of social media posts and campaigns
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and technologies
  • Use social media tools such as Buffer, Creator Studio, Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe Photoshop
  • Collaborate with other teams on various Social Media projects
  • Assist in strategically identifying and maintaining Social Media and Photo Team volunteers
  • Cull through Photo Team photos and sermon transcriptions to develop future content
  • Define and track social media analytics

Required Skills, Gifts, Knowledge:

  • 2 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok, Youtube, and other social media platforms
  • Experience with doing audience research
  • Good understanding of social media analytics
  • Photography experience is recommended, but not required.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative programs such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Premiere and/or Premiere Rush CC
  • Experience in Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant field
