Black Boy Joy
The “Black Boy Joy” Award is for the following two age groups:
- Youth (Ages 11-18)
- Adults (19 and UP)
This award is to honor the uniqueness of Black boys and men which is the epitome of Black Boy Joy! We want to know the following:
- How does the nominee display black boy joy amid adversity?
- How does the nominee display positive ways to redefine the image of black boys/men?
Nomination requirements:
- Must meet the age requirements specified in the above categories
- Must be a member of Fellowship M. B. Church
- Must submit a Headshot or Quality Picture of the individual being nominated
- Must submit a brief description of why the individual being nominated deserves this award
- You have an option of submitting a video that briefly describes why you believe this person deserves this award in 60 seconds or less.
