Scholarship

The Greeks at The Ship Scholarship is a service-based scholarship initiative by the NPHC Greek Members at Fellowship Chicago. The scholarship is designed to support graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated a commitment to community service and extracurricular activities, and who are members of our church. It aims to assist deserving students in furthering their education by covering part of their academic expenses.

Donations

We welcome all donations towards this cause. We want to emphasize that all donations towards this cause are tax-deductible, so you can rest assured that your contribution will go directly towards supporting these students and their education.

Your support can help us make a positive impact on the lives of these students and their families, and we believe that together, we can make a difference in the world.

We kindly request that you select the correct organization you wish to support when making your donation. As part of a friendly challenge among the NPHC Greeks at Fellowship Chicago, your contribution will be credited to the organization of your choice.

Criteria

The Greeks at The Ship Scholarship is a service-based scholarship designed to support high school graduates who have demonstrated a commitment to community service and extracurricular activities. To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Must be a graduating high school senior
  • Must be a member of Fellowship Chicago
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.75
  • Must be pursuing post-secondary education or vocational training
  • Must be involved in extracurricular activities in your school, church, and/or community.
Essay/Video Prompt:
Please write an essay (1000 word limit) or submit a video (maximum length: 3 minutes) that addresses the following prompt:
  • Describe your involvement in extracurricular activities and community service. How have these experiences shaped you as a person, and how have they prepared you for your future endeavors?
  • Please share how receiving The Greeks At The Ship Scholarship will help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
