A native of Stone Mountain, Georgia and the daughter of the late Rev. Willie Sullivan and the beautiful Vivian Sullivan, this woman of God, affectionately known as “Lady Bri,” is a proud 2010 graduate of Johnson C. Smith University where she received the Bachelor of Arts degree in Sacred Music. And in 2015, she happily married her king, Pastor Reginald W. Sharpe, Jr.
Lady Bri, gifted and blessed by God, loves and has been honored to teach and sing music across this country. Through her gifting, she was honored to enlighten the minds of 1st through 4th grade students, as their music teacher, at Christine Elizabeth Academy. Her ministry to others also allowed her to serve as the director of Chapel Choir of the Martin Luther King, Jr. International Chapel at Morehouse College for four years.
Dedicating her life to ministry through song, Lady Bri’s beautiful and anointed voice has afforded her opportunities to sing background vocals for Gospel recording artists such as John P. Kee, Jason Nelson, Norman Hutchins, Maranda Curtis, and on the 2015 Season Finale show of BET’s Sunday Best.
Striving to use her voice and influence to uplift others, this sweet kind and humble spirit has an amazing passion and heart for young collegiate women. This same passion led Lady Bri create, “POUR.” Designed to reach and minister to young women by providing words of wisdom and sharing invaluable life experiences, POUR allowed others who have graduated from college to impart knowledge from their encounters. Through this blog, Lady Bri also seeks to POUR living and refreshing water of encouragement and hope into their lives of today’s young women.
An awesome example of a virtuous woman, Lady Bri worships unashamedly, walks in strong faith, serves with strength, and loves the Lord with her heart, mind and soul. She is currently a student, in pursuit of the Master of Divinity degree at Chicago Theological Seminary; she is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, she also proudly serves beside her husband as the First Lady of Fellowship Baptist Church and humbly serves as the leader of Sisters With Vision Women’s Ministry.
This anointed vessel lives her life, each day, inspired by these words, “Whenever you find your voice and your vision, the World cannot silence you.”
